I had a really comfortable stay at Dong Seoul Hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Plus, the homemade sewn linens added a nice touch of comfort. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure all our touristy needs were met. I also liked that the hotel was located near the Line 2 Metro and Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, making it convenient for transportation. I would definitely recommend this hotel for an affordable and enjoyable stay.

Everything was spot on.

I stayed here because it is near the Dongseoul Bus terminal, from which I needed to take a bus in the morning. It is about a 3-5 min walk to the bus terminal, as well as the subway station. The staff were very helpful. They wrote my bus destination in Korean, so I could get my bus ticket without any problem. The room was quite comfortable, plenty of space for a big suitcase. The room had its own computer with lan internet. Wireless internet is only on the first floor. The color scheme was a funky yellow, white, and black. There are several convenience stores, coffee shops, and local restaurants in the area, some of which are open very late at night. The marble tile floors seemed heated. I can't comment on breakfast, since I had to catch my bus at 6:30 am, before breakfast starts. But according to the sign, both American and Korean breakfasts were available. Overall, it was a reasonable value.

The bathroom layout was odd, although it didn't really cause any problem. There is a big bathtub which is in an area open to the rest of the room. The toilet and shower are enclosed off to the side. But you have to walk through the shower to get to the toilet, which are separated by a shower curtain and both share the same floor. So in order to use the toilet after taking a shower, you should use the slippers to avoid getting your feet wet. It is manageable, though takes a bit to get used to. Regarding the location, although it is very close to the bus and subway stations, it is not necessarily visible from them, as it is on a side street. The sign on top of the building is only in Korean, English is only on the lower level in the front. Fortunately, my taxi driver was able to figure it out, but I could not see the sign from the taxi myself.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The staff was polite and helpful. Our double bed was comfortable, and we had a peaceful night's sleep. Spent my New Year's Eve at a hotel with some friends, and it was a good choice for its price. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff was warm and helpful. The location was also great, as there were many coffee shops and restaurants nearby. the hotel offered a laundry service which was very convenient for our long stay.

The decorations in the room were a bit random and there wasn't much hanging space. Plus, the bathroom jacuzzi was quite small.
